Our country records more and more Covid-19 positive this past few months since the lockdown had been lifted. One of the most frustrating part of a dense populated country is now happening right now.
There are rules and guidelines implemented by the government like social distancing, mandatory wearing of facemask, and now some expert says that face shield must be mandatory too. However, the quick spread of the virus seems to be unstoppable and one of the common reason behind it, the virus was around and cannot be seen by our naked eye. This is like a battle between the unseen enemy.
Now that our country and I as a citizen here, the virus affects millions of jobs and some businesses are permanently closed due to Covid-19 lockdown. While other international country still battling to this virus, opening the economy was the main reason why the virus spread faster. I can't blame the government since our country can't fed all the poor Filipinos including the lower class whose jobless as of now.
The naked truth about this pandemic is now happening: Hunger can lead to crimes and death but this virus can lead to death and chaos as well. The news are the best option to see what's really happening around the world and just seeing what's people situation was devastating. Philippines can't be rich unlike other ASEAN country, but we need to survive in order to live. Covid-19 strikes our country really hard this time and I witnessed here in my community, they really don't understand and care that much about how deadly is this virus.
The government denies that the Philippines is now the new epicenter of Covid-19 in South East Asia, but expert says with their data see that Philippines has now more active cases unlike other neighbor country. Well, whether it is true or not the best way to assert this issue is to take a good and positive response against this issue. If only Philippines had been a well-discipline country, maybe implementing the law and guidelines is easier.
In my conclusion, as a concern citizen and still obey the rules of the country. I hope that many Filipinos can feel a little fear for their own lives when they disobeyed the simplest rule outside.
WEAR YOUR FACEMASK TO SAVE LIVES.
