How To Attract Audience Without Doing Any Sub for Sub
Attracting audience can be tough and stressfull. The way you look for views each day makes you feel sad and been wondering that getting views on any of your content is hard to reach in a short period of time. In fact my thoughts about this matter is actually what exactly my situation right now. It's either you're into blogging, and making videos, expecting to have a thousand views overnight is like a dream come. When i started my Youtube channel which i uploaded my covers, it was so devastating and i wanna quit and totally stop uploading content. Well i also thought that if i would able to have atleast one viral video in an instant, it will make my channel to grow bigger and more faster. As of now i have around 30 music cover videos on my channel.
For some reasons, i had to temporarily stop uploading and it really affect my watch times to stock in a very low percentage compare to my watch time when i had the momentum of having atleast 2-3 covers in a week. I also do some research how to get more subscribers and watch time but it seems that those methods didn't work for a newbie like me. Many famous people right now are into social media platforms and their popularity seems to be their advantage of taking the whole community of being Internet sensation as well. For those creator who started as "Nobody" like me needs to enhance and to keep more videos or blogs for them to grow their channel. Struggle would be the number one torture in our mind and disturb us to focus mainly into our content.
But still my journey to meet my goal this year never stop. I figured out some reasons how to attract viewers and subscribers in the future. These are simple and any new creator can do this without any help of anyone. Remember that every words that i will write to this blog was from my personal experience and i hope it can help you along your journey to be successful in this kind of
1. Engage yourself to you audience.
One of the easiest way to get atleast few but permanent subscribers was to read all the comments in your post. By doing this you are creating simple move but it will make your your audience to feel appreciated. Since i was also a fan of those artist that i really love, i guess when we neglected this simple step, you are taking your future subscribers to visit your channel again. Being a "No Brand Name" needs to be more responsive in every way you can. Just a simple thank you will definetly give them the idea of subscribing in your channel. Believe me, it really works but be sure to leave a genuine response to every comment you will recieve. Not just leaving a thumbs up and then you're done.
Another thing to add for this was don't beg for them to subcribe and like your videos or post. To be honest, it really annoys me when i saw someone's post a comment that says, hug for hug or sub for sub or worst, please like my videos/post appearing right at the very start of your post (intro). People will love your content and it depends on them. When you are so obvious that you want something in return and to be exagurated on your words will lead you to lose more viewers than gaining more. Why am i saying this? As i watched tons of videos and read a lot of blogs/articles everyday, it takes 2-5 videos or post which i watched and loved before i decided to liked and subscribe to that channel. In due time those people who visited your account will remember one of your videos/post in the future.
2. Be on a platform that helps each other to share their work and do not entertain sub for sub.
Choose your designated classification of your content. When you say to be on a group means you are just a member of a platform which helps content creator specially newbies to support, have a discussion and make encouragement for all. By doing this, you can learn some techniques or ways to build your audience as your co-member can help you by giving advices based on their previous experiences. Exploring to look for different groups like in Facebook will help you to promote your channel as well. These group didn't tolerate sub for sub but instead, drop your content to be visited and share lessons in every way.
Maybe some may say sub for sub is the fastest way to have subscribers. There is a downside for that move. Any content sharing platform uses a modern technology and makes it easier for them to identify those acounts who did sub for sub. The worst part, it can be a threat for you site to be at risk. When you did sub for sub, you are just fooling yourselves and stealing your own identity as a good person. We all want to be proud of our growth without doing a wrong one.
3. Be updated on current events (for blogs) and latest songs (for covers).
Aside from not doing a sub for sub, you can use this one to have a better chance to be seen by many. Recently, i started to make blogs which i enjoy for the mean time. I tried to do current events articles which is still related into music. Aside from that, when it comes to music the latest songs was on the hot topic to search for others. By doing this, you can use the traffic source to obtain more views. Attracting viewers may not be easy but as the search engine works, your videos or post has a higher chance to be suggested to others. There are millions of people with the same platfrom still striving and want to make living out of it. So this will be a bigger challenge for us newbie to do everything that we can to be on top someday.
4. Create an impressive thumbnail.
Like the saying of "Love at first sight", this will be a good move to have in your channel or account. When i did my main thumbnail on blogs, i looked for photos that was very relevant based on my blog topics and didn't used more captions. I also not into editing letter fonts. I do love to used readable fonts, the simpler the better. I don't used very colorful fonts too. I experiment with white, red and yellow fonts and it makes my thumbnail more neat and easy to look at. Anyways, these are just myself. You can still create sort of things based on your experience as well. I believe that our experiences still the best to teach us.
But still there is no assurance that a thousand views will landed on your post instantly. Remember there is no shortcuts. Just be consistent and don't stop uploading to prevent a sudden drop on your traffic engine or to be suggested.
