Pro's and Con's of BLOGs and VLOGs
Spending hours from your mobile phones might have some pros and cons but it really depends for those people wanted to be educated and learn something new by the help of internet. However as i learn something that i thought i won't be able to do. Way back in my High school days, i love writing scripts, poems and a diary as well. I feel released everytime i write and during those days, i never knew about the internet world. As the media and social media platform suddenly boomed, the year 2000's seems to be the introduction of video sharing site, writings and tutorials. In that way many people gain from learning how it works. Our technology also rises our global mechanism, structures, gadgets and brain enhancement program which i didn't see as a negative one. As i aged i also desire to have a better future and a part of that was pursuing a home based career.
Home based career might sounds crazy, earning money at home sometimes end up into confusion and quit eventually that idea. The average hours that people spent for working was 8 hours up to 10 and mostly like here in the Philippines can took up to 12 hours. Imagine half of your whole day spent in labor and away from your family. This really gives me the idea of how can i freed from that situation. I got interested to look and search for a suggestions that will meet my goal and optimized my ability to write again. That's why i choose to start writing and later on creating my own blog site. Blog seems to be present many years ago and the fact that all your works can be seen all over the world.
A blog post was a compilation of words, articles and random thoughts. You can write anything and everything. Some writers do articles like current events and that is a very good one to start too. In months of spending my time to think for a blog post day by day helps me to develop a mind with lots of ideas and i love how it really works for me.
When you say blogs, you may asked if i said that you can write everything and anything. Yes, you can. Some people uses blogs to share their ideas or personal lives, they love what their doing it helps them to released from having unwanted feelings. Blogs can be divided in many categories like, motivational/inspirational blogs, gadget reviews, travel and food and many more. The source can be unlimited if you had expanded your imagination without putting any limitations for that.
Vlogs looks like the same as blogs. Vlogs are good for people who'd like to make videos with their chosen content. You need a decent camera, a vlogging mics and a working pc or mobile phone where you can edit you videos. Vlogs became a trend and many people make a living from it. Casey Neistat well known to be one of the early Vloggers in Youtube.
Aside from his creativity, his uniqueness in vlogging spread from many country and imitate the way he does it. I've seen several tutorials how to start vlogs but if you're just like me didn't have the courage to be seen in videos publicly, i highly suggested you should try blogging.
Blogging is more convenient for me to do. Why? 'cause in writing you don't need to be seen (video) and your good even in the convenient of your own space. No cameras, no make up's no so much travelling and no so much equipments. You can write anything as your mind compiling list of information and then make some blogs write away. I would say that blogging saves you a lot of money compare to vlogging.
The basic needs of vlogs was a camera and for you to have a good shot means you need to invest on a decent camera not just a phone. But it can still work though the DSLR camera works much better. Aside from camera, your audio must be clear and no humming sounds even good lights needed too. To ensure a better appearance of every vlogs means you might needed to invest first on the gadgets before earning or getting any profit from this.
However, vlogs has higher chance to get more views and a subscribe as well compare to blogs. Watching videos like tutorials is more easier and entertaining compare to reading an article. The top video sharing platform today was Youtube and there are thousands or even millions creator worldwide. Blogs comes along your way when you didn't find anything on tutorials then searching for blogs was your option.
Analytics also shows that vlogs has higher chance to be seen but do not be dismayed about it. Not all vloggers been successful and make a living from it. Blogs and vlogs are not an instant platform to have income and be steady doing this stuff. It requires you to have patience and perseverance. It can take several months and maybe years. Just remember that these are a part of your journey as you are looking for a more convenient way to earn money at home and with your passion while enjoying your freedom from stressful job scenarios.
Don't stop and keep on doing what you'd love. My best advice is better to not think about making money from your blog/vlogs but focus on your content and put in your mind that it's a part of your investment. You're investing in a lifetime job and you can wait until it's fully ready. Success didn't come overnight and waiting makes us tired. It is normal to feel that way and need some break for a while. Don't waste the time and effort that you've already given to your content. Keep on pursuing it and it will happen at the right time.
