America's Got Talent | The Champions featuring the Boogie Storm and Howie Mandel

What's up everyone! Are you one of those who have just watch AGT performance of Boogie Storm? I've been surprised from somebody's post about Howie Mandel. Did he really pressed the X button for the Boogie Storm? This group was a finalist from Britains Got Talent in 2016 and obviously Simon's favorite. I've watched their full performance and i was expecting something different and extraordinary performamce from them. (like the intense performance of V. Unbeatable) The same entrance as their previous performance was there. The same costume and almost the same choreography but a little more engaging to the audience compared to other dancing groups that's been competing through out the season. However Howie's first sight while on the stage (just few minutes when they appeared on stage) you will notice his reaction and eventually pressing the X button.

As a fan of AGT it's a big surprise and i started to observe if it was an accidental moved or maybe not. But as i saw other judges reaction and Simon itself shows his disappointment face towards Howie, i knew it was for real. As they dances and give the crowd the excitement while performing i never saw Howie's face regret his decision.

Though the crowds seems to enjoy their performance as well to the three judges (Alesha, Heidi and Simon) it doesn't mean that they really did well. As far as i could remember there's never been in the Finals that recieved and X button. If only maybe Simon didn't steal the Golden Buzzer from Howie i think this will not happen to the Boogie Storm to be recieving that kind of unwanted moments in a competition.

So what would be a good lesson to teach us about this incident?

1. It is much better to take credit if you are truly qualified for it.

Don't hesitate if you may lost a credit on your works. Maybe sometimes being humble is better than having an advance thoughts on recieving praises and appreciation from others. Some may say it is better to expect nothing rather than to expect something but have nothing at all. This world we see is a proof that people (us) always wanted to pleased everybody and afraid from other's rejection. Life composed of winning, losing and trying. Be down to earth, stay your feet on the ground and try not to please everybody.

2. Show respect to others even if you feel they didn't deserved it.

Filipino's are well known to be well mannered. We had gestures like "Mano Po" as grabbing hands of elders. We openly uses "Po and "Opo" as a word of respect when talking to an older person or higher persona. Sometimes when life seems unfair, giving and showing respect for those who didn't give any good at you was hard. It is hard to fake your smile and simply talk like there's nothing happen in the past of present lives. This moment at AGT i remember what Alesha said after Howie gives his honest thoughts on Boogie Storm, she said that giving respect for others is important. She was brave and i really like her opinion about how Boogie Storm's performance as a dancer group. She also said, though you are not the best dancers in the world but you made the crowd dances is an achievement as well. Having this kind of words can encourage those people who will lose their self steem in the future.

3. For any downfall moments, just don't lose your way to achieve your goal.

For some their journey to achieve their dream seems faster compare to most average people in the world still fighting for that dream. Stumbling and falling was tough and dealing with your own selves are not enough to stay focus on your goal in life. Remember that opportunity was always there and being ready in any given situation can give you a slot for that moment. You will never know when will opportunity knocks on your door. It is normal to lose and feel tired but do not throw all your efforts away. Keep on moving and wait for God's perfect timing. Age was just a number. Don't consider it as a timeline and you're never gonna get younger on achieving your dreams, but instead make yourself the best version of you and inspire others.

4. Don't judge or else you too will be judge.

This will not be related in judging competitions, what my point was mostly, our first impressions was not really the best one. The type of person or their manners cannot be seen instantly. Sometimes we are so quick to judge and thinking they weren't good and have a bad attitude. In that way we sin already, judging quickly didn't give any good at all. You will lose a future friendship or relationship if we continue to be judgemental. Life was about doing good even if no one was watching you. The bible also says that judgement belongs to God alone. He was the one who is justify to judge everyone and according to what we have done in ourlives.

Additonal thoughts about this was don't be happy on anyone's failure. Karma is real and life goes round and round. Our lives right now can turn into good or bad and as we live our lives individualy, our character will determine how well your life spend and how people value you as a person.
